Chhattisgarh Shakti Swarupa Yojana 2023
Chhattisgarh Shakti Swarupa Yojana has been started by the Women and Child Development Department. Through this scheme, women are provided financial assistance after the death of their husband or after divorce. This financial assistance is provided for vocational training, loan subsidy for starting one’s own business and for pursuing higher education. This scheme is currently being operated in 4 districts of Chhattisgarh. Which are Bastar, Narayanpur, Bijapur and Dantewada. Through Chhattisgarh Shakti Swaroop Yojana, after becoming widowed and divorced, women will get help in living and they will become self-reliant.
Through Chhattisgarh Shakti Swarupa Yojana 2023, there is a provision to provide subsidy on loan by the department after getting the consent of the project proposal by the bank. This subsidy is 15% of the total cost or a maximum of ₹30000. Apart from this, if a woman wants to get higher education under this scheme, then a maximum of ₹ 25000 will be provided to her. Under Chhattisgarh Shakti Swarupa Yojana 2023, after the bank gives its consent to the project proposal, 15% of the total cost of the proposal or a maximum amount of ₹ 30,000 will be paid to the bank as a grant by the Women and Child Development Department.
Financial assistance for pursuing education/higher education
If the beneficiary woman wants to get education above 12th class or wants to get vocational test and the woman has been selected in higher vocational training institute but she is unable to take the exam due to her economic condition, then in this situation training will be considered. The amount will be deposited in the institute by the Women and Child Development Department. Whose maximum limit will be ₹ 25000. To get the benefit of this scheme, the beneficiary will have to get training from a government institute. If the woman has to live on rent or in a hostel to get education, then in this situation, after verification by the district officer, an additional amount of ₹ 1000 per month will be distributed to the woman in her bank account.
Financial assistance for pursuing professional higher education
Eligible beneficiary women will also be provided financial assistance under this scheme for pursuing professional higher education. This financial assistance will be provided to the woman only when she fulfills the eligibility for getting professional education. The maximum limit of this amount will be ₹ 100000. There is also a provision to provide an additional amount of ₹ 1000 per month under this scheme. This amount will be provided only when the beneficiary has to stay in the hostel or elsewhere on rent. This amount will be sent to the beneficiary’s account after verification by the district officer.
